The iSCSI support option for GuardianOS enables SnapServer systems to securely manage, store, and distribute block data across an existing Ethernet network using industry-standard iSCSI initiators. SnapServers with GuardianOS iSCSI support make deployment of application servers and the consolidation of multiple servers across the network easy and effortless. With NFS and iSCSI support, GuardianOS allows the consolidation of storage in Virtual Environments enabled by products such as VMware ESX and Citrix XenServer.
